The Interfaces Program offers students a number of benefits, some unique to this program and others offered broadly by the Bioengineering Department to all graduate students. Information and links to additional FAQs about these benefits can be found here.
- The T32 training grant guarantees tuition payment and a stipend for living expenses. Additional details may be found in the PhD Student Handbook.
- Healthcare is also included in the PhD fellowship package. Additional information about signing up and scheduling appointments with Student Health Services may be found at the Student Health Services website.
- The T32 grant provides funding for conference travel during the first two years in the program (1 conference per year).
- The T32 grant also provides for funding for books (medical school and engineering courses) as well as software purchases. Interfaces students may purchase these books and submit for reimbursement via the Concur website. Contact Michele Haines (Michele.Haines (at) uphs.upenn.edu) with questions related to reimbursement.
